Well, Passover, or Pesach is almost upon us. Are you ready? Do you know what Passover is? It is the celebration of the oldest feast in the Bible. the story of God delivering his people from Egypt, as told in Exodus 12. When the angel of death came to kill the first born, the houses with the blood of the lamb on the doors posts were, 'passed over' and the Israelites left the land where they were being oppressed.
This feast is fulfilled because is Jesus is our Passover Lamb. The Bible says to celebrate the feast for generations. Jesus has rescued us and our sins are forgiven by the blood of the Lamb. Time to get your Matzah, (unlevened bread) and make some Haroset!
It is difficult to celebrate this year of course due to Covid 19 lockdown restrictions, but you know, you can meet up on Zoom or Skype, and celebrate together that way. To be honest, one year, I was on my own at home, and I still celebrated Passover, I had Jesus (Yeshua) for company.
Soon, I will be uploading info on Passover and how to celebrate. Keep your eyes peeled. And remember, Jesus is our Passover Lamb. Hallelujah!
